Week3: Want some Sounds, bud?


Week 3 Changelog:

Added:

  • Sound Effects to all things soundy! All hand-made by yours truly;
  • Options Menu and preference saving (we'll remember how loud you like it);
  • More background imagery to get that Mood goind (or at least try, really);
  • A Very Badly Made Secret;

Changed:

  • Completely rebuilt the camera system (in about two hours) to use Cinemachine and make my life a Whole Lot Easier;
  • Fade-In and Out effects now behave sanely under the hood;
  • Many minor back-end overhauls to keep the game from collapsing in on itself at runtime;

Fixed:

  • Unwanted camera stutter from my previous system;

Not!Fixed:

  • Performance. This game is Not! being made with WebGL in mind, as this is just its initial prototype phase. Lag abounds for now;
  • Whatever the hell was up with the pause input, because my fix is as hacky as it gets. Viva a Gambiarra!;
  • Oh yeah, also, pausing the game doubles the sound effect and I can't be assed to fix it for this week's update. It's lunchtime already;
