Week 5 Devlog: Launch???
The week was spent wondering how to make the game better, realizing I need help, suffering over needing help, finding ways to work it out without help and deciding to start over with better concepts in mind. Geometry Hunter will perish, but its ashes lay over fertile soil. aka I'll rip stuff straight from it if I don't feel like writing new code.
The game is now a standalone build that you install, so no more performance bullstuff. It ought to run on a potato I reckon.
This also packs content made in Week 4, so, uh, Changelog:
Added:
- Shockwave: A new attack ability (that you'll stop using fifteen seconds into the battle because it's the obviously inferior strategy);
- Mana Shards to curb your Shard Burst Spam.;
- "Damaged" sprites to the boss so that you know when you're halfway there.;
- All the sounds for the new stuff;
